Heating Oil

Our Heating Oil Plus is treated with additives for superior performance and cleanliness. Customers can choose automatic delivery, a budget plan and price protection and get discounts for prompt payment. With C.K. Smith, your access to supply is assured because we operate our own 230,000-gallon storage facility.

Propane

Propane is a versatile fuel that can meet many of your home energy needs. It can be used indoors for central heating, hot water, fireplace inserts, room heaters and clothes drying. Outdoors, it fuels grills, outdoor fireplaces, swimming pool heaters and hot tubs. It's less expensive to use than electricity, and one tank can serve several pieces of equipment.

C.K. Smith is Central New England's propane expert. We offer automatic delivery, and our certified propane technicians install and service propane equipment.

Kerosene

C.K. Smith supplies kerosene for heating and hot water equipment. Kerosene is used for many different needs, such as heating mobile homes and trailers. It is particularly well suited to outdoor storage because it resists "gelling up" and usually remains available to the heating system even on the coldest nights.

Wholesale Fuels

C.K. Smith services commercial accounts with delivery of premium fuels. Bulk kerosene delivery is also available. We deliver to fleet fueling sites throughout central Massachusetts, as well as Cape Cod and southern New Hampshire.

Price Protection

C.K. Smith generally offers price protection programs for Oilheat that lock in your pricing for the entire heating season. Price protection is a great way to make your fuel costs more predictable, but it is not a guarantee of lower prices. We announce our plans every summer for the next heating season.

Plans are always subject to change, but we generally offer both fixed price and capped price programs.

Fixed Price: You agree to buy a fixed number of gallons at a predetermined price that does not change during the contract season. Your price will not change regardless of what happens to world oil prices.
Downside Price Protection: You agree to buy a fixed number of gallons, and we guarantee (a) that your price will not exceed a predetermined maximum or cap, and (b) your price will decrease over the life of the contract if the current C.K. Smith retail price drops.

Important Note: Please be sure you understand the C.K. Smith price protection contract before you sign. It is a binding contract, and you could pay a penalty if you refuse to receive the oil you that you have agreed to buy. If the price of Oilheat drops after you sign a price protection contract, you will still be obligated to buy your oil at the contracted price.
