I would like to let you know what an outstanding job Corina McGiness has done in addressing and resolving my customer service needs.

For whatever reason, my paper work / contract was not handled correctly or timely, beginning in August. In November, I called to cancel my account, and do business elsewhere. I was quite frustrated.

I would like to give credit to Corina for taking the time to listen, and truly making an effort to resolve the issues at hand (there was more than one). She turned the conversation around, and offered assistance instead of just canceling.

Her follow-through, concern, and attention have been outstanding. I have spoken to her several times since, and in every instance, this has been the case. It was only because of the interaction with her that I decided to continue doing business with CK Smith Co. I thought you should know.

I have had one oil delivery, and have a service date pending. My plan is to continue with your company, at least for this season, and possibly beyond. That is a far cry from where I started out.

I would have taken the time to write a letter of complaint. ItÂ’s nice to be able to write a letter of compliment instead.

Please extend my thanks to Corina again.

I am a new customer of CK Smith. I had a problem on a weekend with my furnice which also heats my hot water. Wayne, the technician on call, went out of his way to make sure that I had hot water for my family! Thank you Wayne!

I have been a customer of Rauscher's for the past few years. Making the switch to choose Rauscher's was very easy. Recently, I had Rauscher's, which is now CK Smith in to clean my furnace. Not only were they on time, which is huge for me, but they explained what they had done and did not hesistate to ask a question before they did anything else. As well, they cleaned up before they left and where very patient with my son (who is 10) who was asking many questions. I was glad that I made the switch for oil delivery, and I am just as glad that we have switched to them for all of our oil services. Great professional job all around.

This past week I experienced some difficulty with my heating system, which also heats my hot water.

I contacted C. K. Smith Company and the same day there was a service representative by the name of Melvin was sent out to my home to investigate the problem.

Melvin was very professional and explained what the problem was. He then proceeded to work very diligently to take the unit completely apart and clean the entire unit, all connecting pipes, and tuned the system up.

I was really impressed at the professional job Melvin did. His integrity and work ethics amazed me. I have never experienced that kind of effort from any other oil company that I have dealt with in the past.

I only felt it was right share my experience with others. Having been a client with C.K. Smith Company for the past three years, I strongly recommend them to anyone that is looking for an oil company that genuinely cares about their cliental.

Thank You so much to C.K Smith Company and to Melvin, a hard working guy, and one of the best service technicians I have met.

I've been a C.K. Smith customer for over five years. Yesterday we received our first oil shipment of the winter. Last night, I noticed things starting to cool off around the house. I went downstairs, attempted to restart the boiler once, and nothing happened.

I immediately called C.K. Smith and got a person on the phone. She told me that I would be called within an hour's time by a boiler technician to troubleshoot the problem.

About 10 minutes later, I was called by Duane Rabbit, one of C.K. Smith's techs out of Sturbridge. I walked him through what I had done, and at this time also noticed some water leakage from our tank above the boiler. He told me that he'd leave immediately to come repair our boiler.

A little over an hour later, Duane showed up and repaired the problems expeditiously. An air bubble had formed in our oil line, keeping oil from getting into our boiler. He cleared the bubble and also replaced a leaky water valve over the tank. All of the above took less than an hour, and we were back in business!

Considering the horrible driving conditions last night, I was very happy that Duane was able to make it to our house. He was extremely efficient and a pleasure to deal with. It also made me happy that I had C.K. Smith as our oil company, as many other companies would not have dealt with our problem until the next morning (which would have been disastrous). My six week old daughter would also have lodged a complaint with her parents.

Thanks C.K. Smith! We look forward to remaining customers as long as we live in your delivery area.

On belalf of the Central Chapter of National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers I 'THANK YOU' for your help in making our first Oil Heat Cares project a huge success.

Our receipient, Mrs. Tagman, was very impressed with everyone's hard work and enthusiasm. Because of her illness she is unable to work and can not afford the expense of heating her home and hot water with electricity. Her new oil fired system will greatly reduce her costs.

We are fortunate the have so many members and supporters who were willing to give up a Saturday for this cause. The job looks great and every participant should be extremely proud of what was accomplished.

I called Chuck in Service this a.m. with a problem and yes, someone (Izzy) was ringing my doorbell within an hour.

As a longtime customer, I know why I love you all so much. THANK YOU Again for your GREAT service! Kudos to Izzy... he was informative, efficient and cleaned up the mess.
